Galerie Caroline O’Breen aims on presenting current leading fine art photography from artists from the Netherlands and abroad.
We focus on engaged and conceptual photography based art and present pioneering and critical works from artists who explore and expand the diversity of the photographic medium.
Of particular interest are creative practices presented in solo or group exhibitions which focus on the development of a contemporary visual language and the connection between art and society. The making of exhibitions with a museum-like character plays a major role in this and investments are made in the relationship with the public and the balance between content and commerce.
The gallery started in 2015 and is located on the Hazenstraat, the city heart and gallery area of Amsterdam.
Galerie Caroline O’Breen is an exhibitor at international art fairs such as PARIS PHOTO, UNSEEN Amsterdam, Photo Basel and Art Rotterdam. Caroline also works as a curator for photography and art exhibitions. Beside she works as an art consultant for corporate art collections. She has taken part in different conferences and portfolio reviews for photography festivals in the Netherlands and abroad such as World Press Photo portfolio reviews and Rencontre d’Arles in France.

Galerie Caroline O’Breen participates in the Kunstkoop Regeling from the Mondriaan Fund. With this program you can pay your artwork in installments and the Mondriaan Fund carries the interest. This means 100% art – 0% interest.
